Le Pique Nique

These girls make life so much more interesting. They each have their own unique quirks and personalities – and I just love them to bits! Thank you for being such amazing friends!

Teri’s Mom’s good friend, Uncle Arthur decided to lavishly treat us to a lovely afternoon’s picnic at the beautiful Boschendal. It was a gorgeous hot summer afternoon in December, where we enjoyed some much needed girl-time. We also had cause to celebrate as just days before that Terri-Sue got engaged to her prince, Lyle. We then proceeded to toast to TSue’s marriage and to friendship. We really are like the traveling pants friends

We indulged in a delicious 3-course lunch at the very popular ‘Le Pique Nique’ on the famous Pavillion lawns. We started off with brie cheese & onion compote, then enjoyed  delicious chicken and garden salads and a fresh baguette before savoring a very rich and scrumptious chocolate brownie.

We were totally immersed in conversation surrounded by some pretty breathtaking beauty of the nearby mountains and vineyards. See Boschendal’s website for more info on their fabulous picnics.
